Eneridge Wins $7.1M Contract of Off-Grid EV Chargers to Power Green School Transit

Eneridge has taken a major step towards eco-friendly school transportation by securing a $7.1 million contract for off-grid EV chargers from one of the largest school districts in the nation.

Eneridge's winning bid in the competitive process showcased trailer-type off-grid power generation, designed by Pioneer eMobility, featuring 200 units of 19.2kW AC chargers for 200 e-school buses. Fleet electrification often encounters significant infrastructure development challenges, with timelines extending from one to three years. Although e-buses are being delivered on schedule, the lack of EV charging stations remains a critical issue.

Integrating off-grid power generation with EV chargers offers a crucial solution to this problem. Eneridge’s charging trailers, scheduled for delivery from November 2024 until March 2025, will support the district's electric school buses, ensuring efficient and reliable transportation for students.
